How Does the 4–20mA Output Work on a Signal Conditioner?
The 4–20mA output on a Signal Conditioner operates as a current source. The output can deliver a signal between 4mA and 20mA into a maximum load resistance of 250 ohms.
By default, all outputs are configured as digital outputs. To use a 4–20mA signal, you must enable the “Analog Output” option in the Signal Conditioner configuration software.
